Activities of the Paul Mijksenaar Foundation
The Paul Mijksenaar Foundation, a global multi-disciplinary center for research and debate in the field of information design and architecture. The Foundation tries to achieve this by initiating their own projects such as providing courses, lectures and workshops. As well as the development of standards.
In addition, the foundation provides access to its own knowledge centre to achieve this objective.
The Foundation has initiated the Paul Mijksenaar Design for Function Award in 2011. A new bi-annual prize introduced to honour useful designs.

Can I visit the archives?
The archives (a private institution) are not open to the public. Exceptions for the purpose of (scientific) research and for students working on theses or special projects on the afore mentioned categories. Materials can only be consulted at the Paul Mijksenaar Foundation after making an appointment. It is however possible to make (photo) copies (at cost price).

Conditions
In case of publication, the foundation should at least receive one copy of the publication. Visitors to the archives pay a € 25,- deposit. The deposit will be refunded upon receipt of the copy.

How do I contact the Paul Mijksenaar Foundation archives?

The archives will be closed for the remaining months of 2020. We hereby follow the COVID-19 guidelines of the Dutch government.
